SQL Server Service fails to start: – Network protocols not enabled

There are a number of reasons why the SQL Server service may fail to start most of the time it has to do with the permissions of the start-up account. Here I came across a unique new message which I am investigating.

When I open event viewer I see under the application logs

As mentioned in the error message all protocols are disabled as seen in the below screenshot so I will go ahead and enable them.

After which the service starts running.
